Nothing but 5 stars to Chef Ashok! After we booked our Villa at Yellowstone National Park , we started talking about what types of things we'd like to do/experience, while in Yellowstone. Someone then threw out the idea of having a chef cook for us in our villa for the whole weekend as it was rather big family reunion of 30 people. The group was game, and we hired Chef Ashok!

We were welcomed to a fun, multi-course and delicious meal every single meal of the day. Since it was a big group, some of us would stay in while some went out for some outdoor activities. But there was always yummy , sometimes custom food at home! To top it off, the ambiance of the room we got to enjoy our meal in was first class. He always made sure the food was presented well , the lighting was dim, there was good music and our wine glasses never empty :)

As the courses were served, Chef Ashok explained what each item was and how it was prepared. He answered any questions we had. We learned how to properly make and toss an Omelette :) Apparently, it looks like a simple recipe but is the first thing restaurant owners ask you to make when you are trying to get hired as a chef!

Also, Ashok will share any recipes, so you can make the food yourself. Will it be as good? I don't know, I haven't attempted any yet, but I plan to.

Do yourself a favor and have Chef Ashok come cook for you one night, while on vacation. You won't regret it.

We hired Chef Ashok to prepare a five course French dinner in honor of my mother's birthday. We had French onion soup, salad, steak tartare, Beef Wellington, and chocolate souffle. Everything was excellent! And, there was no clean up! We got to enjoy an absolutely amazing dinner in the comfort of my own home, and my kitchen was completely spotless afterward, as if no one had ever been there. I highly recommend this!!

Not only does Chef Ashok make incredible food, he's incredibly flexible and accommodating. I hired him to help create meals for my son, and Ashok has far exceeded our expectations. Everything he makes is delicious and plentiful. So thankful for this wonderful chef.

This was one of the most memorable events! We hosted my mothers 60th birthday! We are completely vegetarian and we were not sure we would be able to get a 5 star meal to celebrate this momentous occasion and we were blown away and exceeded our expectations. It was really a food journey. From the plating to the taste, to the stories around the food. We will always keep this night in our memories! And as I side note I was able to plan this being in Chicago and it was hassle free! Now we will have to beg him to come to Chicago :)

I am not a person who normally writes reviews or posts, but I wanted to leave a note for Chef Ashok and anyone who is considering hiring his services. I wanted to do something special for a dear friend and her husband — in celebration of their recent wedding — by hiring a private chef for a “date night." I’m not familiar with St. Louis, but there are quite a few different private chef companies around to choose from. It’s hard to go entirely by reviews and photos, but when I came across Ashok’s page, I was struck by his passion, his experience and impressive certifications, as well as the number of people who had posted about his food — so many wrote about his professionalism and the time he had taken to help craft a meal to diners’ tastes. From our very first exchange, Ashok was super responsive, answering questions on everything from Covid-19 precautions to what an “around the world” themed meal could look like. I liked that Ashok wanted to hear what types of cuisine the couple preferred and their favorite restaurants (so that he could better understand their taste buds). I liked how he took time to personalize the menu further — when I asked if we could include something Hong Kong-style (HK is where I live, and where I hope the couple can visit someday), he proposed doing a cocktail inspired by the city. The meal was gorgeous, and from my friend’s account delicious: “everything was amazing” and “omg the Singaporean crab curry.” :) THANK YOU Ashok for creating and executing such incredible dishes, for your time and all the back and forth in advance of the evening, for being so friendly and engaging with the guests and for ensuring that the meal was, above all, memorable. Especially in these challenging times, when loved ones can feel so far, it’s incredible when there are moments of feeling very close. We hired Chef Ashok to do a dinner party for my mom’s 60th birthday and the experience of absolutely amazing. He was so easy to work with, such a professional, and helped us plan the entire evening. The food was incredible, we truly felt like we were eating at a 5 star restaurant in our own home. We cannot recommend him enough!

Chef Ashok did a beautiful job preparing our catch of rainbow trout from earlier that same day. Each course was beautifully presented, coupled with an explanation of the ingredients and some history. He was fantastic with my 6 year old nephew, and treated all of us like dignitaries. Chef Ashok has earned my highest praise for his skill, knowledge, and personality.

He stands for believing in oneself and pursuing one's dreams, no matter the odds. Growing up in rural India, he's let the fire of dreams fueled by hard work guide where he is today. Yet, you would never know any of it with his ability to engage customers of all walks with his inimitable and engaging conversations.
